It Went Well ...

It started
with flowers
and ended

with jewelry.

I gave Joe the Hong Kong Phooey DVD set, some Three Musketeers bars (he recently claimed they are his favorite, although we've been married almost 13 years and never knew it), and a cherry pie (his favorite). I probably got the better end of the deal.

Lucky you! I poured my heart out making Valentine's day gift bags filled with gift cards, goodies and gifts for the husband and boys, and what did I get? . . . . a card and a sweater from the husband. thats all. nothing from the boys. Oh well. I guess they have other girls to think about on Valentine's Day now. I have to admit, I liked it better when they were little and I was the only girl they thought of on Valentine's Day. :( Life marches on.

Nice! I saw a heart necklace in the Sundance catalog two days before Valentine's Day and told the hubby I was going to order it for him to give me. I knew it wouldn't come in time, regular shipping was one week, but I was happy and shocked when it came that afternoon, a thoughtful Valentine surprise from Mr. Redford's company:)
