Cropped Pants

More de-stashing sewing. Here are two pairs of cropped pants for Spenser. The top pair was made from a little swatch of woven (vintage?) fabric that Beki sent me for my birthday. It was in the make-it-soon-or-Spenser-won't-be-able-to-fit-into-it-anymore pile. The lower pair was made from a striped, thrifted pillowcase that was definitely in the make-immediately-or-get-rid-of pile.

These pants are so simple to make. They are a great way to use up fabric.

They are both so cute!

I hope to make some pj bottoms this weekend out of thrifted sheets. We'll see if that happens or not.

I suddenly have the urge to get lots of sewing done too. I know Gina would LOVE the rainbow pants :) You really are so inspirational!

You are prolific, woman! Those look fantastic!
Have a great weekend! I hope to tackle my own pile of "need to sew now".

How do you do it? I'm trying to destash too. But all that happens is that I move the piles around because I'm not sewing as fast as I should. I only have two... how do you do it?

I was just reading over at your sewing blog...I loved the spring onesies with the matching pants. I am going to make a batch of those in gender neutrals for on hand baby gifts. Never thought to use pillow cases for the fabric, but of course there would be enough!
