Shamrock Legs

She's all ready for St. Patrick's Day. She's got her new green dress, her green vintage coat, and her new Shamrock Legs. No snakes are going to get her today!

Thank you for the well-wishes yesterday. She's a trooper. She went to see the specialist yesterday and they removed the splint and just taped the two fingers together. He said that fingers tend to stiffen up when splinted, but when taped between the joint, they have better mobility. She's giddy to the point of giggling over this. So much better than having to wrap and re-wrap her hand in gauze several times a day. She'll go back in two weeks for another x-ray.

She picked out green Jell-O yesterday, so we'll make that today. (I also picked up pistachio pudding, but I'm not quite sure the children will be brave enough to try it.) And, I guess tonight is our annual "green eggs and ham" dinner.

What green do you have going on today?

Cute! I don't have anything special planned for St. Patty's day. Maybe I should. I can be such a slacker. ;o)

LOL...I just read Beth's comment and realized I forgot to add the cabbage to the crockpot! LOL oh well - it's purple anyhow. I'll cook it separate tonight.

she looks so great. love all the green!
my 10 year old thought that he was too old for the wearing of green on st.pats day, until his older brother gave him a good pinch. then he just made a mark on his arm with a green marker. that wasn't going to work, so i found him a green tshirt to wear to school. oh, i remember the days of st. pats day at school. if i didn't find him something to wear, he'd come home with bruises up and down both arms i'm sure!

What you explained about Spenser's fingers is exactly how they treated my Audrey. And now, three and a half years (or more) later, she is fine with no reprecussions. Glad she's doing so well! And those leggies are adorable!

Perfectly festive!

Hope her little fingers are better soon.

Btw, Charlotte wears her Valentine's day legs ALL THE TIME. Loves 'em!

CUTE LEG WARMERS!

So cute, in fact, that I'd totally wear those myself.

Instead I have on my favorite green heels. Let's be honest though, they're my favorite shoes, period.

Nothing says cute feet like 4inch grass green stilletos.
