Happiness is ...

... new button pendants (jewelry bails courtesy of Karyn) ...

... a spunky daughter who knows how to dress herself for dinner ...

... singing along to Dance of the Cucumber at the top of our lungs...

... children fighting over who gets to sit next to me and on me ...

... a freshly-picked snowdrop from Mason ...

... properly cured Chocolate Peanut Butter soap that doesn't smell like meat ...

... and a soap giveaway ...

Just leave a comment before Monday morning and you will be entered to win a bar of my Chocolate Peanut Butter soap. I feel I must add a disclaimer. This soap contains peanut oil and peanut butter. If you have any food allergies, especially nut allergies, it might not be a good idea to enter this drawing. (Sorry.)

You're killing me with those button pendants!!!! Polka dots?!?!? YOU are brilliant!!

And Spenser, could she be any cuter? I think NOT!

And....I'm sure that soap is awesome. Oh, if I only had a bar *sigh* ;)

So what you're telling me is that we're not the only family who sings along to Veggie Tales at the top of our lungs? ;o)

(Actually, last night as I was making dinner it was Aladdin and The Little Mermaid...)

I love those pendants. How do you attach the bail to the button?

Veggie Tales - yep, very popular here, too. There are days that I just have to hide the CD so I can get a little break. lol

Is it okay that I sing Veggie Tales and don't have kids??? :) Neices and Nephews let me have fun, he he.

Lera, this is my first time commenting. I found your blog about 2 weeks ago, and I love it.

I bet that soap smells wonderful!

I love your blog...visit regularly. We should all dress for dinner, as such. My son's favorite is chocolate and peanut...would love to win the yummy soap for his Easter Basket.

Spenser is a style maven! Go girl!

I'm a little sad you're not giving away the meat soap, but oh well. I'm up for something that smells like dessert, too.

Happy weekend, friend! xo

Dance of the Cucumber is seriously one of the catchiest songs ever. I can't tell you how many times it's been stuck in my head. And chocolate peanut butter soap? Mmmm!
Oh your little girl is hysterical! I love the button pendants and when the kids fight over mama's attention - nothing else matters, I agree!
Miss Spencer makes me smile every time you post on her. Girl has style!!

Oooh- I would love love to try your soap! Esp now that it is non-meat smelling.

my husband would absolutely swoon over this soap. chocolate peanut butter? i'd have to keep it out of his mouth, let alone out of the shower so that i would have a chance to use it as well :-)

My all time favorite Veggie Tales song is "I Love My Lips" where he's singing to the psychiatrist(is that a different one?). Now I can't get it out of my head. I would love to win your soap just to experience the scent.
Love the getup. My daughter is 8 and still dresses in wild outfits for fun!

I love little girls fashion sense ;) The button pendants are adorable. I still can't get your lavender honey soap out of my head! It's so great finding happiness in the little things. I love being a mom! It sounds like you really enjoy it too.

If, for some reason, the only food products left in the world were chocolate and peanut butter then the heavens would be finally aligned for me! :O) OMG, when you first talked about this combo I started drooling and then went to the store to buy Reese's cups. I love the chocolate mint soap I won previously so much that I rashioned it!

Pure unadulterated bliss would be washing with this one!

And see how I completely forgot to add that I love the button pendants and Spencer, she cracks me up. She is going to be very special indeed!

My 5 year old is OBSESSED with the veggie tales. She has named two of her pillows "Bob" and "Larry". It's too funny!

Spenser is soooo adorable. I wish my Abby still played dress up. She really loves her jeans now.

(I hope this comment goes through. I have the hardest time commenting. I just want to let you know that I do read everything you post. You stories crack me up sometimes and your crafts are an inspiration.)

Take care,
Jennifer
