Thrifted Chair

Before ... a $10 thrifted chair ...

After ... 1 1/2 cans of spray paint and a little cotton batting and fabric and a staple gun later ...

I used Alexander Henry's Sunny Side fabric for the seat. I love the contrast of the red, black and white. Can you say oh yeah??

This turned out stunning! I have a thrifted chair sitting in the garage. I've already stripped it and refinished the wood -- it just needs new fabric. But, I've been dragging my heels. Thanks for the inspiration!

"OH YEAH" -- I have 2 chairs with fabric laying on them that need to be recovered -- waiting for decision and motivation. Might be awhile (hehe). Beautiful Lera! :)K

Ok. Wow. Now THAT is what everyone's imagining when they're out there at yard sales on the weekend picking over the broken crap in people's driveways.

But I haven't seen it executed so beautifully.

Lera - you've outdone yourself this time. That's gorgeous.

You rocked this. Well, not actually because it's not a rocking chair. But you know what I mean.

Dont cha jus love a good vintage find?! I love how your chair turned out. Did you spray it black? And the fabric choice is darling. You've inspired me, I have a chair sitting in waiting to be rehabbed...maybe this weekend will be its time!
