A Little Weekend Sewing

I was able to get my niece's birthday presents sewn this weekend. A personalized birthday tote with matching tissue pouch. Can you see her name "Alana" embroidered on the lower right? It's more obvious in person.

And a dish towel apron. It's a Martha Stewart towel, which makes it nice and sturdy.

Five tissue pouches to go along with some zippered pouches (yet to be sewn) that our church is going to donate to a local nursing home for their bingo prizes. These were made entirely from my scrap basket.

And look at this lovely little bingo bag that Karyn sent me. It's adorable. And the bingo card is so tiny and dainty. The overall bag is only about 4x4". (I found the bingo cards for her at the beloved Swap Shop.) They would be fun to make for the bingo prizes, huh? I don't think I'll get around to that much embellishment.

I love all the embroidery. One of these days I will have to bribe you somehow to make me some embroidered ribbon tags for all these projects.

Cute apron, too - nice find.

I used those Martha Stewart dishtowels on my patchwork rug in my kitchen! The print is so pretty and it looks great on an apron.

And on your last post about where the time went? Extra time with kiddos never equals free time at my house!
