Shoes

I love shoes. I mean ... who doesn't? I would love to have more. Lots more. The thing is, I rarely buy myself new shoes. I think I bought a pair of shoes a year ago. And before that I bought a few pairs with some birthday money. But I think I have gone a year without buying a new pair of shoes. Crazy, I tell ya.

Last night that changed. Jackson needed a new pair of school shoes so we ran into Kohls. These shoes just happened to go up to the register with us and then came home with me. I don't know how it happened. And for the price I paid, I don't even have buyers' remorse.

Cute, cute!

I have too many too, but they're all old. They need new friends to play with up there in the closet. ;)

Very cute shoes! Isn't funny how things just follow you to the register and then home all by themselves? Happens to me all the time!

Even now the children chant "two shoes, new shoes, bright shiney blue shoes" from a story book by Shirley Hughes from when they were very little (now 15 and 12).

There is something so special about new shoes. Hubby asked why women have so many shoes. I explained about the holy grail of shoes which are comfortable, look good on a woman, and above all make her feel like a million dollars. I think he understood. :-) Fab shoes!

you mean? shoe shopping for yourself with your children in tow isn't your idea of an afternoon well spent? searching for your children as they escape to the nearest mirror and catapault off the chair? that's not fun?

cute shoes.
