He Never Learns

Or maybe I should say I never learn ...

Sawyer dropped the lotion-covered ball and it bounced all over my clean hardwood floors. Fun. I was vacuuming the family room when I realized Sawyer and Spenser were just too quiet. They tried to clean up their mess with tissues, thereby smearing it into the carpet further.

The lotion is in the trash now.

My 2 year old loves the lotion as well. She like to but it in her hair and then tell me she's "pretty"!

ah, Isaiah loves lotion and it's almost impossible to keep it out of his reach. It usually ends up on our bed. grrr

These photos are always funny when it is someone else's kids ;) So far my kids have left the lotion alone in this house, thank goodness.

Did Sawyer cry just before the photo was taken? Looks like tears..guilty conscience??

I remember once when our twins were about two years old they emptied a can of shaving cream. It was a huge mess but the house smelled great! Of course I took loads of pictures. We laugh about it now... :)

I found your blog-and I love it! I love your sewing talent-I am so jealous!!! Going to the white house-how awesome is that? You have six kids and you have not lost your mind yet!:) So-I am hoping that I can come back and get mcre inspiration! You rock!
I have a 3 year old-she too is banned from the lotion. What is it with slimy stuff and little people? Gotta love it when they smear it in the carpet! So-please come by and say hi!

Seriously, those eyes? *sigh*

I'd have a very hard time being stern with such a cutie patootie.

FWIW, I picked up a bar of coco butter in hawaii last year that you rub on your skin (body heat is enough to make it soften just a little) It smells great. And, um, there's no lotion on the carpet. Just sayin'. xoxo

Later in life, persistence will be a great quality.
And what he can't get with persistence, those beautiful eyes should take care of.

Always beware of the quiet. Around my house that's a sure sign of trouble! He looks so sad that he was naughty. What a sweetie!

If it's too quiet, I sometimes run to see what my kids are doing. Quiet is never good!

Oh my goodness! It kills me that they tried cleaning up after themselves. And I bet they have nice soft skin. :)
