Finally!

Remember this dresser? It's finally finished!

I say finally because this is the third shade of red I've painted this thing. The first was too orangey. The second shade was nice, but it was streaky. Then I realized I should have sprayed it all along. Duh!

So $3 and one can of Red Cherry Krylon spray paint later, here it is. I added glass knobs, as I intended and it's now in my bedroom. I love it.

Lera! I do hope that this post is one of your many backup pieces in your hard disk!

Is that what you would call a Post Office Red or a Fire Truck Red?

Very nice looking glass knobs!

Oh cute cute! I love the glass knobs on the red - unpredictable and gorgeous.

I found the spray paint worked really well, too, on a project I couldn't see spending hours painting with a brush.

Specifically, my dog's raised bowl holder. It's wood, too, and the thought of priming and painting something that was going to soon get slobbered all over just didn't make sense.

And the spray paint worked like a charm. Go Krylon!
