A Special Day

Four backpacks all lined up ...

The oldest starts middle school today ... Sixth grade!

Three big boys return to elementary school ...

And do you see this boy? This boy is turning six today. On his first day of first grade.

Happy birthday, Mason! I can't believe it has only been six years since you joined our family. It feels like an eternity. In a good way. A very good way. I love you, boy.

happy first day of school and Happy Birthday Mason!

Your vacation looks like so much fun. We're moving to Maryland in the spring and looking at your posts always make me think it won't be sooo bad :) Thanks!

You are so special. What a great family you have. My grandson also started middle school. It's so hard to believe.

We're moving to Pax River.
Is that close to you?

Texas is so big that in comparison really the whole state seems like it's close to each other :)

A lot of happy firsts or 6ths at your house today. Happy Birthday Mason. Love the new blog banner picture. Sawyer looks like his shoulder is doing better. Hope it is!
How is it possible that one of the kids has already been to the nurse? That cracks me up!

Love the "six" shirt- too cute!

Is your oldest really as pensive as he's appeared in recent pictures of him?
Happy Birthday to Mason! (I have a Mason, too.)

Happy birthday Mason.

Sawyer almost looks like he's annoyed that he doesn't get to go to school too!

I like your new photo.
Happy birthday Mason!

I love the look on Sawyer's face. His brothers are smiling but he doesn't seem to want to be in the photo.

Love the hol post. A bear! Oh my! Sorry in danger of slipping into the Wizard of Oz then.

Well done for surviving another holidays Lera. My lad is goign to be 13 on the 4th then I will officiallly be the mother of teenagers. I wonder what that will be like for the next 5 years. I think each age had it's own challenges.
