Cherry Cobbler

Earlier this week I decided to look for some online recipes for a pumpkin cobbler to use up some of the canned pumpkin I hoarded when I was making pumpkin roll (weekly! ahem) this fall.

I quickly found some recipes and then stumbled upon a recipe for cherry cobbler. Joe loves cherry-anything, so I thought I'd make this first.

Oh. My. Goodness. Is it ever good. I used two cans of cherry pie filling (20 oz. each), although the recipe only calls for 32 oz. I just didn't want to have it sit in the fridge and go to waste.

I could eat this all day long. For real.

I do that all the time-put in all the filling, etc. Hubs likes more fruit that crust anyway and you're right it would languish in the frig until I threw it away!
Yumo!! Thanks for sharing, your cherry pie looks sooo good.
I made a gazillion pumpkin rolls during Thanksgiving and Christmas to sell, I really enjoyed it and it gave me some extra money.
We love them, they freeze very well too....for many months!!

Lera, Have you ever made Dump Cake? It is awesome and you can use any kind of pie filling in it. It is even better the next day reheated with ice cream.

Instead of melting and drizzling the butter, I cut the stick into pats and make sure as much of the top is covered as possible. It is what makes the cake mix brown.
