What Weekend?

It really didn't feel like a weekend. I didn't go anywhere, except to the post office on Saturday and I took out the trash on Saturday night. On Sunday morning, I was getting ready for church when Joe announced Spenser still had massive diarrhea and shouldn't go to church. So I stayed home with Spenser and Sawyer.

I cleaned a little on Saturday morning, but my house is a mess again now anyway. That's what happens when you have a house of kids. I wanted to mop my kitchen floor on Saturday, but didn't get a chance, which is actually a good thing. It seems everyone was extra clumsy yesterday. It's at the top of my to-do list this morning.

I did manage to squeeze in a little bit of sewing time. I sewed a bib for Sawyer on Saturday night. I cut out the pieces a few weeks ago. It's left over from my skirt. The back is white chenille (with cotton batting in between). I embroidered a red "S" on the front in red just to jazz it up a bit.

When I was adding the snap, I busted the cute little button. See how it's cracked? Oh well. It will be on the back of his neck and I'll try not to notice it.

Poor Spencer - and poor you! I hope everyone gets back to 100% this week.

And I've got bibs on the brain - my co-worker is expecting and I can't stop thinking about things to make for her. :)

Oh I hope Spenser is better soon.

I need to try some bibs for some babies of friends.

What a cute bib! One of the few times I've tried those kind of snaps I cracked them too.
