Holiday Couture

I had it in my mind that I needed a new Christmas skirt. And then I saw the Asymmetrical Fold Skirt. I knew it was the one.

I used red linen, an Alexander Henry print (Arvika) for the facing, and vintage black buttons from my stash.

And I had just enough fabric to make a dress for Spenser.

Two yards of red linen: $15.98 (no tax or shipping)
Facing: from my stash
Buttons: from my stash
Interfacing: from my stash

A Christmas dress and a Christmas skirt. $15.98. Not bad.
