A Busy, Busy Weekend
Here is a picture of Christy trying to get Kim to look into the camera. Even though Kim won't show her face in this picture, you've seen her before on my blog ... riding her Harley.
Saturday morning, I finished the skirt.
I went with majority rule and used both orange and fuschia and I'm happy that I did.
And on Saturday, we went into the attic in search of boy baby clothes, baby carseat, swing, and toddler bed (for Spenser). Spenser seemed thrilled with her bed at first. At first. Within seconds of leaving her room, she started crying for us and tried to escape. We found her a little while later behind her door (we have a second entrance into her room, as her room is adjoining to ours, so she wasn't hurt).
And then on Sunday night, the same thing. Except we found her asleep here:
She has not been sleeping well, waking up and crying (this is a big change for a little gal). She awoke at 4 a.m. and cried for about 10 minutes. I found her asleep on her floor a few minutes later, halfway between her bed and our door, with her pillow and doll.
And, so, I've been awake since then. At 5:30 I decided to come downstairs and sew.
It's been a very-sewing weekend, due to my lack of sleep. I have sewed 2 more skirts, a tote bag (a little different than the past ones), covered a night-light lampshade for Mason, and embellished both pairs of Bitty Booties. I'll post those pix tomorrow.

Oh -- you're in the sleepless nights phase? As in this-child-is-kicking-me-so-much-and-I'm-as-big-as-a-continet-and-I-just-want-to-sleep-but-can't phase. Yeah, I remember that well.
The skirt turned out beautifuly, by the way.
