I'm Still Here!
We're still waiting for a baby. (Today seems like a good day, though ...)
Anyway, back to normal routines. Last night Joe took Taylor, Carter, and Jack to karate. It was their fist night back since the summer began. It was Jack's first time ever. He loved it. (But, of course, I forgot to send the camera!) Which worked out for me, because when I was giving Mason and Spenser their baths, Mason commented that Spenser's hair looked "like a weapon." And I had to grab the camera for that!
I spent yesterday running more errands and vacuuming again. I went to Michaels armed with a 50% coupon and came out with Stitch 'N Bitch, The Knitter's Handbook. I am going to teach myself to knit. I don't know when I'll have time, but that's my plan!
And I ran into a new dollar store looking for three specific things: night-light lightbulbs, a small crate/basket for Spenser's Little People collection, and a "lingerie bag" for tiny baby socks, when I found Whatchamacallit's! I love, love, love those candy bars and they are difficult to find. They were 2 for $1, so I bought 6.
And just to prove that I am still pregnant ... and growing larger by the second, here are 2 pictures I took of myself late last night on my due date. They are dark because it was about 11:15 p.m. when I decided I should take a picture of myself, on my due date, for the baby. I know I should have been in bed resting, especially since I was sleepy at 9:30, but I couldn't stop reading my new book (or folding baby laundry, or eating high-calorie snacks).
And if you didn't remember, Mailorder #4 is on sale, with subscription offer! (Maybe the baby was waiting so I could order it before he was born ... I have been worried I'd be in the hospital and would miss it!)

He must have been waiting for me to come back.
I'm back now, kid, so you may put your dear mommy out of her misery and join us already!
I think I'd like to learn knitting. I bougt myself a child's how-to book, but haven't gotten around to looking at it yet.
Which dollar store are you talking about? I haven't seen a Whatchamacallit forever!
Just love your eternal zest for life - 5 children and wants to learn to knit - go for it!
